This years competition starts off with all 14 teams playing their first game and none was short of amazing.
From exceptional goals to amazing passes and sublime free kicks, spectators were thrilled all through.
First game between OA Warriors vs Yakubu Philemon FC ended 3-2 in favour of Yakubu Philemon with Yakubu Nuhu netting a brace. Lukman Tairu got the first booking of the season.

J.T Aondo’s Ifeanyi Okolie was the hattrick hero of the season following their 6-2 drubbing of Teeay Galaticus.
Team Proches defence was shattered by Chris Uche FC in the third match of the day following a 7-1 demolition of their opponent. Emmanuel okorie scored 4 goals for Chris Uche while the consolation was scored by Princewill Odmal to comfort his team mates.

The battle between Raji fc and Team Kalu was perhaps the hard nut of the day with both teams trading passes and scoring goals. It ended 3-2 in favour of Raji FC.
The free flowing Team Mexis, some called them the “Barcelona of the league”, some said they are the “tiki taka masters” whatever you choose to call them, they sure picked up where they left as Back2Back champions beating tutoring their opponents Maikyau FC 14-0…yes you read right…14-0. Such was the dominance that one player netted a hat-trick and two others scored braces. There were no cards issued, credit to fair play spirit of both teams. The question on everyone’s lips remain… Will they win it again this year?

Dauda Sanni’s hat-trick and Otigas lone goal were all Cross Examiners needed to sink LOF legions in a 4-1 mauling that saw LOF scoring just a penalty for consolation. The last match of the week saw a hard fought game between KGA FC and Yusuf Ali FC with the later going home with a loss.

Team Mexis stands on top of the table this week with 14 goals advantage…

Keep a date with us again next weekend as we witness another series of Lawyers in court Tigers on field tackle it out.
